Gayle is a born and raised 4th generation Peace Country resident and proud of it! Originally from the Manning/Hawk Hills area, she now enjoys returning there to provide professional services. She began working at the firm in 1995 and has acted as the firm's Human Resource Partner since 1998 when she became a partner. A farm background has contributed to her knowledge and interest in farm tax, agri business and the AgriStability and AgriInvest programs. She enjoys the diversity of businesses that rural accounting practices serve and prides herself on personalized and timely service to ALL clients.
She funds an annual scholarship for Paul Rowe High School students in Manning and St. Thomas More students in Fairview called the Walisser Woman of Excellence Scholarship.
Gayle and her husband, Thane, have two boys, Kye and Hunter. Gayle volunteers at the boys' school, teaches the Children's Liturgy Program at the local Catholic church, and can be seen every lunch hour exercising or instructing a fitness class or Spinning® class at Fitness on the Go.
Brad was raised in the Nampa area. He joined the firm as an articling student in 1998 after a short period with Taylor McComb in Grande Prairie. He obtained his designation in 2001 and became a partner in the firm in 2005. He works with clients in various industries including agriculture, forestry, oilfield, transportation and owner managed small business.
His hobbies include golf, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
Brad and his wife Karen have three children, Gabrielle, Samuel and Noah.
Rachel started working at the firm full time in 2004, obtained her CA designation in 2007 and became a partner in 2011. She has focused her practice on providing hand-in-hand guidance, support and services for her clients in such areas as personal and corporate tax, assurance, accounting and farm programs. Her experience includes assisting clients in the fields of retail, oil and gas, private enterprise, professionals and agriculture.
Rachel enjoys meeting with clients, both in and out of the office, to discuss their business. She also enjoys travelling to Valleyview once a month to provide services to clients in that area, and has been doing so since 2011.
When not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.
Robby was born and raised in the Peace Country. He started working at the firm in 2004 as a summer student and began articling in 2008 after obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. He received his CA designation in 2011, became an Associate in 2015 and has been a Partner since 2017.
His professional focus has been on small to medium businesses in various industries such as agriculture, oil and gas, retail, auto dealerships and not-for-profit organizations. Robby helps owners and managers with a range of services including assurance and audit services, corporate tax and personal tax planning, as well as guidance throughout the business cycle from start-up to sale of a business.
Robby served as treasurer and later director for the Peace River and District Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2014 and currently holds the position as treasurer for the Nampa and District Volunteer Fire Department.
When away from the office, Robby can be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife Chelsea, and children, Rilynn and Roman.
Brent has been with the firm since 1991. He received his CA designation in 1995 and became a partner in the firm in 1998. Brent was born and raised in the Peace River area. After obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta in 1991 he returned to the area to pursue his career. Brent has several years of experience dealing with clients in various industries including agriculture, retail, forestry and oil and gas.
Brent and his wife Tanis are the proud parents of Amanda and Cohen.
Ken was born in McBride BC and raised in Jasper. He came to Peace River in September, 1975 for a one-year term on a work-study program. As the old legend says, he must have “drank the water”, because after receiving his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in 1978, his CA designation in January, 1980, he returned to Peace River full time in February 1980. Ken became a partner in the firm in June, 1981. In 1983 he married a local girl, Susan Stano. They have two children, Michael and Kristina.
Ken has been involved in all areas of the partnership and works extensively with clients in forestry and the oil and gas service sectors. He is also now focusing more on wealth transfer, succession and retirement planning.
Lynn joined the firm in 1991. She obtained her Certified General Accountant designation in 1995 and became an Associate of the firm in 2000. Lynn mainly works in the area of small to medium sized owner managed businesses.
Lynn and her husband Ed were both raised in Peace River. They have one daughter, Megan.
